    Craigmore residential facility has a vacancy for a full time permanent Maintenance Person.

    The ideal applicant will have demonstrated experience in both preventative and reactive general maintenance of plant, buildings, grounds and equipment. Other duties include electrical testing, maintaining accurate documentation and monitoring external contractor work. 

    Ideally you will be a “Hands On” person, who is computer literate, with a commitment to Work Health Safety Principles. You will need to be self motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision. Previous experience as a handyperson or maintenance person is essential.

    An exciting opportunity exists for a Relieving Coordinator of Housekeeping Services. In this diverse role you will be responsible for providing relief housekeeping coordination services across Resthaven residential facilities. 

    In collaboration with the Manager of Residential Services and the Care Coordinator you will provide quality care and services to residents and their families. A primary aspect of your role will be to supervise and coordinate staff and activities in the kitchen, laundry and maintenance sections of the facility. This position is an integral component of the site management team.

    Your commitment to providing quality service, focussing on satisfying resident needs, as well as your outstanding organisational and leadership ability will be highly regarded.

    The successful applicant will have:

    • a proven track record in leading and developing others
    • an effective communication style with a wide range of people
    • the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionan understanding of the ageing process
    • knowledge of food safety legislation and requirements and experience with HACCP an understanding of quality accreditation systems and their application in the workplace
    • the ability to work effectively under pressure and to be flexible to satisfy competing demands

In that light we are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:

    • Development experience (3-5 years+)
    • Bonus points if this has involved integration, especially if you are familiar with one or more cloud-based integration platforms
    • Experience in requirements analysis and system design
    • Comfortable with SQL and databases
    • Current Driver’s Licence

    If you have any of the following they are great nice-to-haves:

    •  Exposure to enterprise software integration and/or implementations
